Team news & latest updates.

Australia.

The last match against West Indies, we saw Australia’s top batting order struggling against bounce. Only Coulter-Nile shine in batting with a 92 runs with support from Steven Smith as well. Bowling department was in super form for all their world cup matches so far, Cummins and Starc were leading in front with spin support from Zampa.

Middle order seems pretty shaken as Glen Maxwell couldn’t make a mark yet. Team management will never take a chance for such a big game, lineup will remain the same.

India.

Rohit Sharma proved his worth with a much needed century in the last match while chasing. But poor start from Dhawan and KL Rahul made fans and management worried. Middle order seems strong with MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya in top form, the only concern is position of Kedar Jadhav.

Bowling looks pretty neat, Bumrah looks deadly in England pace pitch. Spinners too seem very confident in what they are doing. Chahal took a 4 wicket haul last game looks in top form. B Kumar should pair with Bumrah for a much more impact in the first powerplay.

Our Match Prediction.

Our pick is India, last match Australia’s batsmen fell like a deck of cards. against West Indies bouncers. If India can produce a devious pace attack, then it’s an advantage for India. Oval pitch doesn’t support chasing team in any manner, so toss will be crucial. Second batting will be in jeopardy as history says of the venue.
